DDK Italia has not appointed a Data Protection Officer: the activities carried out do not meet the legal conditions requiring such a designation.<\/p>\n

The principle, in one line<\/h2>\n

This website has no analytics tools, no advertising pixels, no embedded third-party content and carries out no profiling. The data we collect is what we need in order to reply to those who write to us and to run the customers’ reserved area: nothing else, and for no other purpose.<\/p>\n

What data we process, and why<\/h2>\n

Browsing data<\/h3>\n

As with every website, the systems running this site record certain technical data in the server logs: IP address, browser and operating system type, pages requested, date and time of the request. This data allows the site to work, helps identify malfunctions and makes it possible to detect attempted abuse.<\/p>\n

Legal basis:<\/strong> legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the service (Art. 6.1.f of the Regulation).
\nRetention:<\/strong> no longer than 30 days, unless longer retention is necessary to establish liability in the event of unlawful acts.<\/p>\n

This data is not used to identify visitors, nor cross-referenced with other information.<\/p>\n

Contact requests<\/h3>\n

If you write to the email address published on this site, we process the data contained in your message \u2014 usually name, company, email address and whatever you choose to tell us \u2014 in order to reply.<\/p>\n

Legal basis:<\/strong> responding to a request from the data subject and taking pre-contractual steps (Art. 6.1.b).
\nRetention:<\/strong> as long as needed to handle the request; if a commercial relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship and within the periods required by tax and civil law obligations.<\/p>\n

Requesting access to the reserved area<\/h3>\n

The reserved area is intended for customers and holds the technical documentation for our products. To activate an account we process the company and contact details provided in the request: company name, VAT number, address, name and contact details of the reference person.<\/p>\n

Legal basis:<\/strong> pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b).
\nRetention:<\/strong> for the duration of the commercial relationship. Requests that do not lead to an account being activated are deleted within twelve months.<\/p>\n

The reserved area<\/h3>\n

Once an account is active we process the credentials, the profile data that the customer can update independently, the assigned price list and any messages sent through the internal contact channel.<\/p>\n

Legal basis:<\/strong> performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b).
\nRetention:<\/strong> for the duration of the relationship. An account left unused for twenty-four months is deactivated and the related data deleted, except for anything that must be retained in compliance with tax and civil law obligations.<\/p>\n

Documents available in the reserved area are not public: they are stored outside the folders reachable from the web and are delivered only to users who have logged in and are authorised to access that document.<\/p>\n

Who the data is shared with<\/h2>\n

Data is neither sold, transferred nor disclosed to third parties for purposes of their own.<\/p>\n
